Too Much, Too Fast? (5)

I read an article from the National Association of Elementary School Teachers and I discovered that there is a lot of investigation taking place when it comes to children and technology. I related this to the discussion that we had in class on Monday, where we talked about how children in our generation are involved and surrounded by a little too much technology that may become rather overwhelming. As a young adult in this same generation, I am surprised by the knowledge that these kids have picked up so quickly. In my opinion, it may be a little too young. There is nothing wrong with using a game system or ipad every once in a while for enjoyment; however, it seems as though the kids are as addicted to technology as we are...and what does a 4 year old really have to talk about on a cell phone?
